Rob to test Chevron GR8 next week

Firstly, the team at RobHedley.com, would like to apologise for the lack of updates since the launch of the GR8. The reason for the delay is that it has been decided that the best course of action is to really spend sometime working on the aerodynamics of the GR8 before entering into the highly competitive British GT Championship. "We really want to enter [British] GT's in the best possible shape so we are immediately competitive" stated Rob "trying to rush a car that has only had 6 months development on it would be a huge gamble and a massive learning curve". The Car is now going to go through an intensive aero development program now ready for entry into the the British GT Championship towards the end of the year with a view to run the full championship in 2011.

Other news is that Rob will be getting his first full test of the Car at Silverstone next Friday. This will be an opportunity for Rob to really see the potential the Chevron GR8 has and to get a feel for the car. "I am looking forward to putting in some quick laps in the GR8 and really seeing what it can offer" Rob Commented.

We will have an update following the test session with some action shots and Rob's comments and opinions of the day. Please check back then.
